Safflower oil is different from used in tutorial..what is used is sunflower oil i guess ..yes both are medium drying oils ..but the problem with food grade sunflower oil is that there are some additives that may cause oil painting not to dry at all in some spots ( in case of not doing final cleaning for brushes with any regular way ...solvent ..soap and water..etc )
